Blogging is Hard

Well, turns out keeping up a blog is harder than I thought. Did you know that to keep up a blog you have to think of stuff and then type it up on a regular basis? Well those of you that do it I tip my hat to you.

So even though a LOT has changed since these pictures took place I will continue where I left off.

A lot of family fun for both Jon and I in Florida (of all places). Not only did we see more of both of our families in three weeks then we normally see in a year, but I also flew to Minneapolis to spend a weekend with Jon's sister Alyssa and a couple of her friends who will also be in her wedding. Sister fun, Grandparents, long lost Great Aunts and Uncles. What a wonderful Florida experience!!

THEN (suspense) right during the southern ice storm of the century we made our move for Mobile, AL to visit my Duluth friends Joel and Emily who had recently had a baby. A drive that should have taken us around 6 hours took about 12. Lemme tell ya'. The South is NOT prepared for things like snow or ice. When we heard the headlines, "Rain, Turned to ICE overnight!!!" we thought, "Yeah, so? Once the salt and sand trucks get out there..." Oh there are no salt or sand trucks. The I-10 would be closed all day because not only did all of the ice have to melt, but the dozens of crashed cars and semi's had to be cleared. What a mess!! Back roads the whole way. But of course the promise of a beer with friends and holding a cute tiny baby kept or spirits high and it was SO totally worth it.

Checking out the Mangroves.

Holy Smokes! A gathering of Anderson's??  Yup, (from left) Jon, Me, Uncle Glen, Aunt Barbra, Cousin Kris, Aunt Dianne, Uncle Roger, and my Great Aunt Karen (first time meeting)!!

More family fun on Marco :) Dinner with Jon's fam: Paul, Dan, Amy, and Grandma Dorsey.

My Great Uncle Raymond (first meeting as well). You could't find a better Key West tour guide.

Jon and I made it to Orlando just in time to attend my cousin's wedding. (My cousin Britney and Myles, on the right)

Mixing it up in St. Augustine with our first 3 minute egg. Success!

Emily, Joel and baby Clara Sunshine. Have you ever seen a cuter family? Defiantly not. They're the cutest.

Team work at its finest. Momma feeds baby, husband feeds Momma, it's a thing of beauty.

Clara, the tiniest cutest little peanut.

Joel: Super Dad. (with a super killer stay-at-home-dad blog: Happenings of an Eager Dad )
